The Brandywine Warriors organization has offered youth football and cheer leading programs in northern Delaware since 1963. Our program currently consists of 4 Varsity and 7 JV teams with 5 different weight and age levels for approximately 300 players and cheerleaders ranging from ages 5 to 15. This includes a non-contact flag program for 5 and 6 year olds who want to get started learning the game of football.

The Warriors are a special group of individuals that come together to form a "Family".  Our player are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play on some of the finest football filed  in Delaware County, while our home field is Concord High School's Game filed.

We compete at a level that make our players much better, the opposing team will not be a friend, neighbor team mate for another sport, we play teams in Chester Co and Delaware Co PA.

The coaches are our players coaches all year round.  Do not hesitate to contact us regarding any matter.

General Coaching Overview:

The Warrior 150lbs. staff consists of a core group of coaches (Coaches Mike, Vic, Rich and Matt).  Each has vast experience coaching the great game of football.  The “core group” each have their own roles (also known as “position coaching”) on defense and offense.  The offense & defense are broken down by positions with one coach responsible for the entire team; Offensive Coordinator & Defensive Coordinator.  The staff is very structured to ensure all positions and players receive the proper techniques and fundamentals to make them the best player they can be!!

The entire coaching staff is focused on making each player a better player, but more importantly a better person.  We mold the “boys” into responsible, respectful, dedicated “young men”!!

Make Practice Fun!

Youth football drills will improve the skills of your football team. If you are the coach of a young team of eager football players, the following youth football skills will help you move the team forward into both comprehension of the stances of the on field playing game and the repetitive skills it takes to be a dedicated professional player. Youth football drills should be informative and fun, so you can keep the team players interested while they learn.

Youth Football Drills All Begin With Ready Stance:

The Ready Stance drill teaches one of the proper “ready” football stances. Line up your team into lines and shout “ready”… “stance”. Walk up and down the lines as the players crouch into their stances. Correct any players that are not in the correct position. This is one of the most important, basic football skills needed.
