This is the communication tool for our program 365 days a year!  The season may end in November, but the staff is available all year round.

PLEASE log on and let us know what is happening in school, family, freinds, sports, etc...  We are truly interested.  The coaches go to events all the time to see our players, please let us know when your events are so we can come support you!

Example:  Andre Smith shared with me he was having a game a week ago.  I went to McKean to watch his team play Mt. Pleasant.  Andre did an awesome job, leading his team to a big win!  GREAT JOB superstar!

Alcohol & Smoking Issue

Over the first few weeks of the 2009 season, there have been a few incidents involving the consumption of alcohol at Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference games.  The Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference reminds all parents, coaches, and fans that consumption of alcohol at Bert Bell games is strictly forbidden, and could result in the suspension of players, coaches, parents, and/or fans, forfeiture of games, and the removal of the offending organization from the Bert Bell Memorial Football conference.  The League has a zero tolerance policy in regard to alcohol at any Bert Bell event, including games, cheerleading competitions, scrimmages, and practices, and we ask for your cooperation in adhering to this policy.

In addition to the Bert Bell policy, The Brandywine Warriors has a no tolerance policy for both alcohol and smoking on school property. Please read and review below:

ALCOHOL

The POLICE will be called if anyone is caught drinking on or in possession of alcohol at Concord High School  or at any Warrior home or away games.
1st and only offense: Family/families and player/players will be permanently banned from the Brandywine Warriors program. This decision is solely based at the discretion of the president of The Brandywine Warriors and cannot be overturned or overruled.

SMOKING
Anyone caught smoking (including coaches) on school property will be subject to the following penalties:

1st Offense: Suspension for 1 game for both you and your player/cheerleader

2nd offense: Suspension for 3 games for both you and your player/cheerleader

3rd offense: Dismissal from the Brandywine Warriors program for that season and a 1 year ban from the following season.

4th offense: Permanent Ban from The Brandywine Warriors program.

The bottom line is neither is allowed, both are ILLEGAL on school property and any infractions will not be tolerated.

Regards,

Jay Brauer – BW League President
Rich Windon – BW League Representative
