Spring is here and that means we are closer to another great football season. Start now, by getting into shape and eating right. (No McDonalds's = Foo?) We have a chance here to make history not only for the Warrior Nation but Bert Bell history. No Delaware team has ever won "their" league. They know who we are now, they know that when they play the Warriors that they are in for a....well, simply put, WAR! In Ancient times, Warriors were feared by there opponents and honored by their peers. Warriors will defend their home turf even if the odds are stacked against them(undefeated at home in 2009). Remember this as you get ready for 2010, remember how you felt on that Sunday in Media, PA around 3:30 in the afternoon. WE ARE......WARRIORS!!!!!

Spring Ball is set for June 27. Final details to come soon. For all your information, Nick McGinley placed 3rd in Blue Hen Conference wrestling tournament. Nick has worked hard and for those of you who don't know how hard it is to place at conferences at all, but as a freshmen it is unbelievable. Way to go Nick!

Just a reminder to all Warriors to keep your school work current. For your information, I have been in a couple of local school districts doing my Practicum and also have been asking teachers and principles how all of you are doing. Some have given me good reports but some have given not so good. For those of you that are getting into trouble and acting like, well, an idiot, i will be talking to you soon. Those of you that are doing what you are supposed to do, keep up the good work. I am very proud of all you wrestlers and basketball players also.

2009 150 lbs. Warrior Team-- Great job this season, we began the season as a group of "individuals", it took a while to mold the whole "TEAM aspect". The coaching staff lead by Coach Mike never thought of giving up, we knew we had something special. We came together to become that TEAM that we needed! Each player played a key role in our successes. Thanks to everyone involved for another exciting, successful spirited season! Watch out 2010 seaon is not far away! Coach matt

I can only look back on my thoughts before our semi-final game against Rose Tree. We were so prepared, we were so ready, we were so pump to take this program to the next level. You all deserved to be in the Championship game. We did everything possible to get to the championship game. This what happens in this great game there is always a winner and a loser and no one wants to be on the losing side but we were and we learned from being in that game that gave us a chance to be the best Team in the League. It really hurts for the players that will no longer suit up as a Warrior. Those who will no longer be able to play for us are the ones who set the standards for us to get there again and have another oppertunity to win the big game. I just wish we could of done it for you guys this year. We gave it our best effort. Hold your heads up high and be proud you guys are the true heart, soul and backbone of this program. Programs are built on veteran players you all will never be forgotten. Thank you for giving us coaches everything you had. I will never forget you guys. Big mo you are so right. We only build and keep building every year and we hope you veterans come and help us achieve what you helped us start. We will be champions and it will be a celebration for every Warrior that helped us build this program to what is today. Thank you to all the veterans that helped us build this program and remeber you will never be forgotten. Coach Mike

Hey guys. I just wanna say congradulations on a amazing season. a loss hurts, specially when its just on step away. i felt it too this saturday. its just more motivation to get better for next year. dont spend the next nine months doing nothing. the offseason is where champions are made. this is the place where i started playing and i wanna make sure that i help you guys every way possible. Im looking forward to next week because my football season just restarted in the weight room, and so should yours. good luck to everybody and get ready for next year.

Saturday's loss hurts and it hurts real bad, the coaches know. We can not blame any one player, coach or play. Our effort was outstanding. When we made a mistake, we came right back with a big play, offensively and on big D. Guys, you must realize that when you reach the level of play that we were at on Saturday, games like that are going to happen. Both teams wanting to get to the next level so bad. This game is a game of inches and that guys is basically what it came down to...inches. As i told each and every one of you after the game. Keep your heads up, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You are WARRIORS! Be proud to be. My father, who was Coaches Rich, Todd, Mike and my coach when we were your age. Came up to where we were having our post game "celebration" just to tell us how proud we as coaches and you as players made him and all the coaches who aren't with us anymore where smiling up in the clouds saying, "The Warriors are back!" I love each and every one of you. Stay right in school and Good luck in your next sport whatever it may be. e-mail or call me (229-2733) anytime for help with anything school or well, anything. The relationship never ends. Coach Vic
